Refund and Cancellation Policy
This document regulates the refund and cancellation policy applicable to registrations made for the camps, activities, sports events and training programmes organised by SPORT CHANGE PROJECT, through the website https://www.sportchangeproject.com/ or through any other authorised registration channel.
1. Ownership
For the purposes of this policy, the organiser responsible for the activity is:
Company name: Crow Legacy Company S.L.
Tax ID: B76774561
Commercial name: SPORT CHANGE PROJECT
Address: C/ Condesa de Venadito, 6, 28027 Madrid, Spain.
Contact email: info@sportchangeproject.com
2. Acceptance of the refund policy
By completing the registration for any SPORT CHANGE PROJECT camp, activity or event, the participant, parent, legal guardian or person responsible for the registration expressly accepts this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Before making the payment, the participant, parent, legal guardian or person responsible for the registration must read and accept these conditions, understanding that the place is reserved once the corresponding payment has been confirmed.
3. Nature of the registration
Registration for SPORT CHANGE PROJECT camps implies the reservation of a limited place in a sports and training activity organised for specific dates.
This reservation may involve prior organisational commitments, including the hiring of technical staff, facilities, materials, insurance, equipment, group planning and other costs necessary for the proper development of the camp.
For this reason, once the registration has been completed and confirmed, the amount paid will not be refundable, except in the cases expressly provided for in this policy.
4. Cases in which no refund will be granted
No refund will be granted when the cancellation is due to personal, family, academic or work-related reasons, travel arrangements, changes in personal plans, date incompatibility, voluntary withdrawal or any other circumstance unrelated to SPORT CHANGE PROJECT.
No refund will be granted if the registered participant decides not to attend the camp or leaves the activity once it has started, except in the case of a serious medical injury duly accredited in accordance with the following section.
5. Exceptional refund due to serious injury
SPORT CHANGE PROJECT will only assess a full or partial refund when the participant suffers a serious injury that prevents them from taking part in the camp or activity.
To request a refund for this reason, it will be essential to submit an official medical certificate or medical report issued by a qualified healthcare professional, clearly stating that the participant is unable to take part in the sports activity.
The request must be sent in writing to info@sportchangeproject.com and must include:
-
Full name of the registered participant.
-
Camp or activity for which the participant was registered.
-
Contact details of the parent, legal guardian or person responsible for the registration.
-
Proof of payment.
-
Medical certificate or report proving the serious injury.
SPORT CHANGE PROJECT reserves the right to assess each case individually and to request additional information when necessary to verify the reason provided.
6. Deadlines for requesting a refund
Refund requests due to serious injury must be submitted as soon as the participant becomes aware that they are unable to attend and, in any case, before the start of the camp or activity, unless the injury occurs during the event itself.
Requests submitted after the deadline may be rejected if they do not allow the facts to be properly verified or if the organisation has already incurred costs directly linked to the reserved place.
7. Refund amount and payment method
If SPORT CHANGE PROJECT approves the refund request, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the registration, unless technical or administrative reasons require another method to be agreed.
The amount to be refunded may be total or partial, depending on when the injury is communicated, the costs already incurred by the organisation and the specific circumstances of the reserved place.
8. Cancellation or modification by SPORT CHANGE PROJECT
If SPORT CHANGE PROJECT is forced to cancel a camp, activity or event for organisational, technical, administrative, force majeure reasons or because the minimum number of participants required has not been reached, registered participants will be informed through the contact details provided during registration.
In these cases, SPORT CHANGE PROJECT may offer a new date, a place in an equivalent activity or a refund of the amount paid, as appropriate.
9. Changes to dates, venue or programme
SPORT CHANGE PROJECT may make reasonable changes to the programme, schedules, coaches, facilities or camp content when necessary for organisational, sports, weather-related, technical or force majeure reasons.
These changes will not automatically entitle participants to a refund, provided that the activity can be carried out under suitable conditions and maintains its main nature and purpose.
10. Promotions and discounts
Registrations made through promotions, discounts, early-bird campaigns or special prices will also be subject to this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Benefiting from a promotion does not modify the cancellation conditions or create any additional right to a refund outside the cases expressly provided for in this policy.
11. Communication of incidents
For any questions, incidents or requests related to this Refund and Cancellation Policy, interested parties may contact SPORT CHANGE PROJECT through:
Email: info@sportchangeproject.com
Postal address: C/ Condesa de Venadito, 6, 28027 Madrid, Spain.
12. Applicable law
This policy shall be governed by Spanish law and any applicable European regulations.
Any dispute relating to the interpretation or application of this policy shall be submitted to the competent courts and tribunals in accordance with current legislation, without prejudice to any rights that may correspond to consumers and users.
