Sport Change Project arrives in Tenerife, bringing together 12 of the best young female basketball players from Spain for an intense week of training under the direction of renowned coach Ángel Jareño. The sessions take place at the Pabellón Miguel Ángel Díaz Molina in Puerto de la Cruz, with two daily shifts: from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 17:30 to 19:30. This project addresses the current situation of women’s basketball, focusing on the integral development of girls and combating the trend of adultification. Additionally, on Friday, the 12th, and Saturday, the 13th, the NCAA Showcase will be held at the same venue, where the players will participate in games observed by scouts from American universities, offering the opportunity to obtain university scholarships valued at an average of 200,000 euros. The NCAA Showcase games take place from 18:00 to 20:00 and are open to the public.
